Graduated in Electrical Engineering by the Federal University of Mato Grosso - UFMT (2003). Master in Mechanical Engineering by the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC (2007), with project in the field of Biomedical Engineering. Ph.D. in Neuroscience by the International Max Planck Research School - University of Tübingen, Germany (2013). Has experiences in the field of Brain Machine/Computer Interface (BMI/BCI), Rehabilitation, Plasticity and Brain Stimulation Techniques using 'Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation' (TMS) and 'Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation' (tDCS), besides Projects in Biomedical Engineering, Machines/Devices, Stents, Aneurysms, and Fatigue Tests.

Areas of Interest: Brain Machine/Computer Interface (BMI/BCI) in humans, Rehabilitation of childreens, teens and adults, Plasticity, Brain Stimulation Techniques, Projects in Biomedical Engineering, Machines/Devices.
